On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we took the time to remember those that were lost this year. We took a short walk to listen to speakers from around the city. From there, we walked to the final site where NvC. Sr. FloraFauna Anne Merryweather had those write their grievances, those they were remembering and/or affirmations for the new year on her veil that then, will be burned in a sacred fire. Due to this and several previous acts of extraordinary activism, a new title was dawned. FloraFauna Anne Merryweather shed her white veil for a sparkly new black veil.
