Glamarama began life as a precociously fabulous little gay boy that loved sparkles, petticoats and elaborate headpieces. As fate would have it his flamboyance wasn’t frowned upon and he was readily urged to be himself and nurture his creativity! As a friend of many Sisters his need to share that desire to create beauty as well as instruct our community to love their own uniquely fabulous selves was recognized. With a handful of like minded people he was asked to start a mission house of Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in Kansas City. With the flick of a brush or twenty he took to the calling of the veil naturally and shares his gifts for dispensing glamour and recognizing your own magical beauty readily! Glamarama loves interacting with the local LGBTQ community dispensing knowledge on our past while keeping a heavily lashed eye on the present all the while looking to our future!

Guard Phil La Joque-Strapp. I am a Cancer with a Leo rising. I like long walks on the beach and short trips to the moon. I run a tight ship with loose morals. I am an Empath and an Elemental on multiple dimensions. I give better than I get and I give till it hurts and expect the same in return. I believe that the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are sent from a higher plane to educate, nurture and protect. In my life and as a Guard my motto is “TRY HARDER” and I try to instill this in others by teaching them that anything worth having is worth working hard for. And as diverse human beings in the world LGBTQ community, learning to love ourselves and each other, in all of our different shapes, colors and backgrounds is the true meaning of life.

Hey Sweets! I’m Sister Burma Titzcold. I absolutely love all things horror, no matter how bad they are, my favorite color is purple, and my favorite pizza is…not mushrooms.

I joined the Sisters in Jan of ’17, looking for a creative outlet and a way to help local LGBT+ people, from youth to elderly. As I’ve progressed down the path, my goals have evolved to: (1) help spread joy to any and all I can, (2) educate people on LGBT+ history, safe sex, self love (body positivity), and (3) promote safe alcohol consumption versus alcohol misuse and abuse. Some people can drink responsibly, while I cannot. I am over a year sober.

Please, don’t drink and drive…someone could get hurt (or worse), DUIs are a pain in the ass, and super expensive! Uber, taxi, call a friend, reach out to a Sister.

After taking a few schoolmates to see her friend Sister Glamarama Ding Dong at Drag Queen Story time, and learning the history of Drag “families”, Isabel proclaimed “I want to be a Ding Dong!”

In October of 2018, Isabel was veiled, “Little Sister Queen Ciabatta Ding Dong”. She is the youngest member of the City of Fountains Sisters. Isabel has always expressed an interest in charity work and has been a life long member of the artistic and LGBTQIA community of Kansas City. Working with The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence was a natural fit for her and she takes the title very seriously.

I’m Laffy Taffeta and I’m every bit of my dad’s “Minnesota-Nice,” but look out, ’cause just beneath the bright eyes and ginger beard smile is a streak of my momma’s “Jersey-girl!”

As a Bible school dropout, and 6 year ex-gay reparative therapy survivor, I joined the sisters as an aspirant in the summer of 2019. I was yearning for an avenue to be a more involved member of KC’s LGBTQIA+ community. What I found was an opportunity to quench my souls thirst for community, activism, and a creative/spiritual outlet to express myself that I hadn’t even realized I needed.

This group of beautiful individuals, in a short time, became friends, teachers, confidants, and Sisters. They push me and inspire me to be all that I am, and all that I could be. And together with them I hope to show the world the unimaginable joy that is found in loving yourself and loving others.

Hello all! I am Sister Molly Alice Minx of the City of Fountains Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. I am a healthcare worker by trade, and spend my free time living my fabulous faerie life! That includes but is not limited to capturing shiny objects, daydreaming, and sprinkling faerie dust on unsuspecting humans. As a Sister I strive to be present, be open, and most importantly never forget to have fun!

Sister Dee Compose likes thrift store shopping, sushi, video games, and is definitely not a murderer. She has a love for helping others, not murder.

Hatched from a golden egg in a trailer park, Dusty GustO’win blew a breath of fresh air into the Great Plains. Raised in the new age Christian church, she always struggled to find where she truly belonged. With the introduction of a hot glue gun and glitter, she felt as if these objects were somehow connected to her. Armed with her glue gun and her sparkles, she made a pilgrimage to the Rocky Mountains to reconnect with nature. In her times there she learned the basic survival skills of any queer: Speed walking, iced coffee, and the much needed bold eyeliner. 8 years later she returned to the plains with new found inspiration and a love of green chili. She began searching for the outlet to let her sparks shine and just like that, she found the sisters and the rest has been Sistory.

Sister Twiggy Stardust is a Kansas City native with a passion for glamour and bringing joy to the community. She’s a novice sister excited to spread happiness and help others find their inner beauty.

Sister Sir Racha hails from the corn state of Iowa originally. A founding member of the priory of the wild rose. Has found a home with the City of Fountains sisters in KC, Missouri. Sir Racha is Mr. World Bear 2021.

Sir Racha is a fun, flirty sister who knows her way around a paddle and flogger. Are you naughty? In need of a firm hand to help guide you? She is your gal. Her primary goals as a sister are to foster unity among the diverse groups within the community. She aims to bridge the gap between sisterhood and the local leather, bear, and pet events, all while actively contributing to the greater LGBTQIA community.

Novice Guard Jack was born to carnies and juggling by age 3. His bottomless pockets are full of tricks, treats, and probably nuggets. He has the heart of a raccoon and the scream of a rubber chicken. All goblin, all the time.

Ditzy Dense is a craftsman, historian, and a bit of a clown. She came to the sisters looking to find a queer community after moving to a new city. She’s been quoted saying, “Wearing my nana’s boas and heels was bound to lead me somewhere! I’m glad it’s here.”

Born in the quaint Christmassy town of North Pole, Alaska, Faberge Gregg has wandered a long long way from home along his journey, picking up fixations, fascinations, revelations, adorations, and even some unfortunate procrastinations along the way.

With a love for vintage clothing and pop culture, Fab first learned about the sisters through his time at Wonderland Vintage where founding sister Glamarama Ding Dong and Guard Phil La Joque-Strapp introduced him to the sisters’ mission and history within the queer community. It wasn’t long til Fab was sold, and in the time since he has met several fabulous beings who spur him on to spread love in the community and further immerse himself in queer culture.

Whether it’s rocking assless chaps and whiteface in manifestation or archival Dior shades outside of manifestation, above all the goal is to be attentive, put in the work, and always be kind.
