Sister Lemonade held the Sacrament around a wonderful fire pit, on a slightly cool but beautiful evening. Sisters and Guards gathered, manifested and not, united in a mutual calling of service to our communities to promulgate universal joy and expiate stigmatic guilt, and a night of ceremonial (and socially distant and safe) communal reconciliation. We released and let go of our perceived transgressions we have held onto from one another (and even our lives as a whole) and forgive ourselves for perceived transgressions we may have inflicted on others. We burned our negative thoughts, thereby releasing the guilt, created sacred and blessed glitter, and laughed a lot throughout the event.
*Our contributions of service vary in diversity with each of our own unique talents and perceptions that we bring to the House. We grow and learn and thrive as Sisters on this journey with our communities, selves and fellow Sisters creating lasting memories and lifetime bonds of love and friendship. And however we may strive for love and connection it is inevitable that from time to time we will rub each other the wrong way, step on each other’s toes, and hurt each others feelings. When these perceived transgressions are held onto over time, resentments build and create division amongst us and affect the health of the House as a whole in an adverse and negative way. After this fabulous Sainting of RBG, and the Sacrament by Sister Lemonade, we elevated 2 members! Please welcome Novice Sister Flogarella Glitteratti, as well as Postulant Sister Daniel. We also gained 2 new Aspirants, Ryan and Johnny! |
