Some of the Sisters gathered and traveled to Q-Space for a night of fun and frivolity with the local kiddos. The Sisters and youth gathered in a circle and introduced themselves, one-by-one, listing their name, preferred gender, and favorite foreign language. The Sisters, as a group, then introduced themselves and provided their Sistory, did a blessing, a Q&A session, and took lots of pictures.
They ended the night with a Veil of Shame – where the youth wrote down what they’ve been called and how that made them feel. This veil will be burned and the ashes retained for gifts and blessings. At the end, the youth colored sister faces and asked tons of questions. Our youth is important; the working class of tomorrow, and staple of our community as a whole! |
