Novice Sister Cathy Lick gave a blessing to kick off this annual event. Of course, the Sisters and Guards practiced social distancing AND wore their masks. The COVID-19 pandemic is real, but we can still safely show joy and love.
This was also the last delivery of cards for Novice Sister Ultra Brocade’s Novice Project, “Cards of Care”. She hand wrote cards to the residents of Hope Care Center to remind them they matter, and are loved! To you I give my heart so yours can be full.
To you I give my steady hands to hold yours tight and strong.
To you I give my arms to hug you close and dear.
To you I give my eyes so you can see the beauty of your soul.
To you I give my voice so you can be heard.
When you are in darkness I surround you with my light.
When you feel weak I give to you my strength.

When your thoughts are troubled I give to you my hope and patience.
I give to you my endless joy to replace your sadness and sorrow.
I give to you my love so your spirit may always thrive.
I give to you these words so that you may always remember that you are honored.
